On launch day, The Drip Boulevard officially opened its doors in Braamfontein, and we did it in true street style—partnering with hip hop group The Qwellers for an exclusive event titled “Store View & Meet and Greet.” The atmosphere was electric, the music was loud, and the drip was undeniable.
We curated the night’s playlist entirely from The Qwellers’ catalog, blending the sounds of Braam’s rising hip hop scene with the energy of the street.
To mark the collab, we dropped a limited edition Drip Boulevard x Qwellers t-shirt, available only on the day. Fans got a front-row seat to the live t-shirt printing experience, witnessing firsthand how our in-house t-shirt production works — all done on the spot, fresh and raw.
The event was more than just a store launch — it was a full-on celebration of Braamfontein’s street culture. Fashion heads, music lovers, and the city’s coolest crowd pulled up in numbers, turning the store into the ultimate link-up spot.
Inside The Drip Boulevard, it was a treasure trove of the rarest thrifted gems — from iconic vintage pieces to modern streetwear brands and luxury fashion. On the racks and shelves, we featured everything from Nike, Chrome Hearts, Carhartt, Levi’s, to Japanese streetwear brands like Ev*su, as well as collectible sneakers including Jordan 1s, Jordan 4s, Pumas, thrifted Adidas, Balenciagas, Rick Owens, and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro.
As a thrift store in Johannesburg, our mission is to curate rare, affordable, and stylish vintage clothing — giving the local scene access to high-end fashion without the high-end price tags.

Braamfontein, the playground for Joburg’s cool kids, was the perfect setting to launch our vision. This wasn’t just a meet and greet — it was fashion meets music at its highest level. We were “Qwelling” all night with The Qwellers, vibing hard and turning up with the community. The energy was unmatched.
Welcome to The Drip Boulevard.
